zera Scram Kitty was a great game, and this catchy soundtrack is one of the reasons why. Favorite track: East Wing I.

Koji Oh man. I'm speechless. Such a strange style. I guess if I were rescuing my cat from space rats this would be the background music. Favorite track: Docking Bay II.

Michael Hughes My favorite album of 2014 might be the soundtrack to Scram Kitty and His Buddy on Rails, which is also leading in the categories of Best Video Game and Best Title.

But the music! If synths are your thing, and of course they are, check out Samuel Baker's incredible work. Start with "Theme from Scram Kitty" then check out "Docking Bay I." The entire OST can be had for a mere $4. Favorite track: Docking Bay I.

Rob Laser beam synths and percussion that pops out of the speakers. You can count the number of better video game soundtracks on one paw. Favorite track: East Wing I.
